Privacy policy
Effective 16 October 2026
Dotti Sudoku ("Dotti", "we") is a puzzle game. We don't ask for your name, email or any account, and we don't sell your data. This page explains what the app keeps, what it shares with the services that make it work, and the choices you have.
What stays on your phone
Your pages, progress, streaks, settings and the status of your purchases are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. Daily reminders, if you turn them on, are scheduled on your phone; no server sends them.
Ads (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads from Google AdMob between pages. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking when iOS asks), your IP address, and information about the ads you see and tap. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, Dotti asks for your consent through Google's consent message first, and you can change your choice any time in Dotti's Settings under Ad privacy choices. Saying no to tracking changes which ads you see, not how many. Google's practices are described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. If you buy Remove ads or join the Club, no ads are requested.
Purchases (Apple and RevenueCat)
Purchases are made through Apple; we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to confirm what you've bought. RevenueCat receives a random identifier for your copy of the app and your purchase history, nothing else about you. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
Usage statistics (PostHog)
To learn which parts of Dotti people use, the app sends a small number of events, such as a page started or solved, a hint used, an ad shown, or the paywall opened, together with a random identifier. These events never include your name, contacts, location or anything you type. They are processed by PostHog (posthog.com/privacy).
Game Center
If you're signed in to Game Center, Dotti posts your daily page time, the number of pages you've inked and the achievements you earn. Game Center is run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; you can sign out in iOS Settings.
Children
Dotti is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
- Allow or refuse tracking when iOS asks, or change it later in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Change ad consent in Dotti's Settings (where it applies).
- Turn off reminders, sounds and haptics in Dotti's Settings.
- Delete the app to delete everything it stored on your phone.
To ask about your data or to have something deleted, use the contact details on our Support page.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new date.
